CARIBBEAN-FINANCE-Three CARICOM countries on FATF list.

ST. GEORGE'S -- Three Caribbean Community (CARICOM) countries are included in a Financial Action Task Force (FATF) advisory as the international standard-setting body for anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) seeks to encourage countries to become more compliant.

A statement issued by the Anti-Money laundering and Combating Terrorism Financing Commission here said that Barbados, Jamaica and Haiti have been classified as jurisdictions' under increased monitoring and are actively working with the FATF in their regimes to counter money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing.
