CARIBBEAN-LECTURE-Former Trinidad and Tobago finance minister to deliver ECLAC lecture.

The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) Wednesday announced that economists and former Trinidad and Tobago government minister, Winston Dookeran, will deliver the fifth lecture celebrating the 75th anniversary of the ECLAC, which was founded in 1948 as one of the United Nations' five regional commissions.

It said that Dookeran, an economist, and current Secretary-General of Euclid University, will deliver the lecture next Wednesday, October 25 at the ECLAC headquarters addressing the the Caribbean subregion's current and future prospects.

The presentation is entitled 'Structure and Synergy in Development: The Caribbean Setting and its Future' and is part of the Keynote Lecture Series organized to commemorate ECLAC's 75th anniversary.
