FOOTBALL-ENGLAND-Spice Boy Mitchell wants goals to count for wins.

Grenada international Kairo Mitchell has rued the fact more of his five goals in the National League this season have not resulted in increased points for Rochdale.

The 25-year-old, who joined The Dale on a two-year contract during the summer, has emerged as one of their leading scorers and fan favourites so far this season.

Despite his impressive form, however, Rochdale has failed to win all but one of the games in which he has scored. 'It's been good because there's been a few games where I felt like I should have been on the end of certain crosses and nearly moments,' Mitchell said.

'To get the goals in these games, you would prefer to get the win as well.

'Everyone around the place feels we definitely should've had more points from the games we've played.

'And I agree, it's important we put in our good performances, put down a marker and start picking up some points.'
