NETBALL-AUSTRALIA-Aiken-George to play for champions Thunderbirds next season.

ADELAIDE -- Ace Jamaica goal shooter Romelda Aiken-George will be turning out for a new club once the pay dispute impacting players in the Super Netball League in Australia is settled and a new season is guaranteed.

Media reports indicated that the recently-minted SNL champions Adelaide Thunderbirds secured the services of the 6-ft, 6-in tall Aiken-George for what will be her third club since playing in the top flight of Australian netball more than 15 years ago.

Aiken-George, who turns 35 on November 19, was not offered a contract by the Queensland Firebirds after giving birth to daughter Gianna last year.
