ST. LUCIA-POLITICS-PM warns of fake Facebook page.

CASTRIES -- Prime Minister Dr. Kenny Anthony sys he has become aware of a fake Facebook profile bearing his name and photograph.

Anthony, who is preparing to lead his ruling St. Lucia Labour Party (SLP) into general elections later this year, said that the fake Facebook page contained correspondents from a person or persons impersonating him and engaging individuals, who believe they are corresponding him.

In several copies of conversations obtained, the person or persons operating the fake profile have solicited personal information from contacts, in exchange for cash and other promises, a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister noted.
