ORDER

1 UPON READING the Application filed by the Barbados Light & Power Company Limited (“BLPC” or the “Applicant”) on October 04, 2021 for the Review of Electricity Rates pursuant to Section 16 of the Utilities Regulation Act Cap 282 of the Laws of Barbados (the “URA”) and the Applicant's request for interim rate relief therein;

2 AND UPON READING AND CONSIDERING the written submissions of the Applicant; the Intervenors — Barbados Renewable Energy Association, Kenneth Went, Public Counsel, the Energy Division in the Ministry of Energy and Business Development and Tricia Watson and David Simpson jointly, and the Commission's own research;

3 AND UPON HEARING AND CONSIDERING oral submissions and evidence of the Applicant and oral submissions of the Intervenors – Barbados Renewable Energy Association and the Division of Energy in the Ministry of Energy and Business Development at an Interim Rate Relief Hearing convened by the Commission on the 1 ^st day of July, 2022.

IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT:-

• 1. The Applicant's request for Interim Rates is approved at a cap of 50% of the requested rates for all customers with the exception to the rates to be charged to the employees of the Applicant for whom 100% of the rate requested is approved. These approved interim rates are outlined in the table below:
