TRINIDAD-MILITARY-US Vice Admiral donates ambulance and field hospital in Tobago.

PORT-OF-SPAIN -- Military Deputy Commander of the United States Southern Command, Vice Admiral Alvin Holsey is on a four-day visit to Trinidad and Tobago as part of a Continuing Promise 2023 mission stop.

October 22-25. His visit follows the successful Continuing Promise 2023 mission stop in Trinidad and Tobago in September.

Vice Admiral Holsey's visit began on Sunday October 22 during which time he will meet with Ambassador Candace Bond, government representatives, and key leaders of the Trinidad and Tobago Defense Force and Coast Guard.

He will also tour the recently US-funded refurbished maritime operations command center at the Coast Guard headquarters in Chaguaramas. The command center is equipped with the latest technology to assist the Coast Guard in efficiently fighting transnational criminal threats, including the trafficking of people, weapons, and narcotics.
